Burgundy is known for its cooler climate wines, hands on viticulture and small parcel wine making. The Chardonnay grape is originally from Burgundy. French Chardonnays have a natural leaner style and often lower alcohol, they tend to have lively apple and citrus flavours, whilst our Audrey Wilkinson Chardonnays, tend to have a more textured mouth feel, crisp acidity and concentrated flavours of peaches and pears, a result of the warmer climate in Australia.
