This Liqueur Shiraz was made in the traditional method from Shiraz grapes grown in Langhorne Creek. With a lifted nose of stewed plums, figs and toasted nuts with a warm spirit note. The palate has intense flavours of Christmas cake, raisins and spice with smooth integration of spirit to give this wine a long, warming finish.
Average winter rainfall and warm spring conditions encouraged good early season growth resulting in well-balanced canopies. A warm dry summer with a few favorable rainfall events led to early ripening and ideal ripening conditions continued until harvest. A year of exceptional quality with intensely flavoured wines with moderate natural acidity.
