This Liqueur Shiraz was made in the traditional method from Shiraz grapes grown on the Audrey Wilkinson property. A small parcel of Shiraz, which had 4 baume of residual sugar left, was separated from the larger Shiraz ferment. It was then fortified with 7 year old Brandy spirit to achieve 19% alcohol and transferred to old fortified barrels to mature for 11 months. The wine was then carefully blended, lightly fined and bottled.
The 2014 vintage is already regarded as one of the Hunter Valley’s great vintages. With ideal warm and very dry summer conditions, we had the luxury of determining exact picking times which allowed tannin and flavour profiles to fully mature. The 2014 white and red wines will be highly sought after gems, enjoy!

A lifted nose of dark cherry and plum fruits with rich chocolate and warm spirit notes.
The palate has intense blackberry and ripe cherry fruits, with smooth integration of spirit to give this wine a long, warming finish.
